FOUR ETERNAL TRUTHS (4G's)

These four are not "truer" than the other truths or even more important. However, as we seek to practice speaking the Gospel into the everyday things of life, these four are helpful.
  • They are easy to remember (all begin with "G").
  • They touch on areas we all fail to believe at times. We are all unbelievers at some level, and when we don't believe a truth we believe a lie instead.
  • There are clear implications or outcomes for when we are believing these truths.

Here is a short worksheet for small groups to discuss and reflect on the basics of the 4Gs. This could be useful to download and printout as you watch the short videos below.

  2. Gather 2 or 3 others to read it together and practice it over several months.
  3. Commit to seriously sharing, about how remembering the truths have been helpful to you this week.
  4. Listen to the heart motivations behind each others frustrations/stresses and practice linking it back to not believing one or more of the truths.

We have created simple, easy to read backgrounds for your phones lockscreen. The designs were created to suit all of the most common OS/iOS designs, with enough space for the clock to be seen without covering any of the words. 

We found this simple practice to be a very helpful and easy way to remember the 4G's throughout the weeks.  Every time you look at your phone, a truth is staring back at you.

  2. Choose whichever background you are practicing with your community.
  3. Then change it up every couple weeks so it keeps catching your eye evey time you pick up your phone.
