HOW WE GATHER:
As gathered ones, we gather in different ways.
3-4 people We seek to meet as DNA Groups throughout the week, to listen to the Spirit together, intentionally learn together, and practice Gospel fluency as we become known deeply by a few we trust. It is a place for our blind spots to be seen and kindly hold us in obedience to what God is saying. As a church, we believe care happens most effectively in small, trusted spaces, holistically and with accountability. DNA's are one of the best places to give and receive encouragement in our apprenticeship with Jesus. |
12-20 people We seek to meet as Missional MicroChurches each week, for things like meals, sharing pains and joys, encouragement, to have fun together and to create spaces that welcome disengaged and distant, and also reading the Bible together. MC’s are smaller/intimate forms of the church gathering, small enough to know a lot about each person in the family, noticing needs and caring for each other's hearts. This is where the shared life of Christ is seen and experienced most clearly, and gospel fluency is easily practised. The Goal is to keep God’s mission at the forefront while caring for and shepherding each other. |
30-50 people We seek to meet as a Church Gathering regularly (for us this is monthly). These gatherings are special because they are made up of 2-3 Missional MCs who meet together. During these gatherings, we learn together, worship/sing together, share communion and hear how the Spirit is working in the other Missional MicroChurches. The shared leadership lead discussions and teach during these gatherings. With a larger community to draw from, DNA can be formed as well as prayer times, worship nights, youth programs and broader pastoral care. Anyone is welcome to come along to these Gatherings. |

?? people Our dream is to meet as One Church each year. This is when Church Gatherings connect with other Church Gatherings from around the city, for training and encouragement, to be refreshed and renewed. A time for the gathered believers to be reminded of God’s bigger picture of a citywide church united around Jesus. A place for sharing stories, praying for one another, and realigning our views to God’s view in prayer and worship. We desire to see a corporate gathering of One Church made up of many families. |
